Hot Tub wiring need the spa into a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)-protected 220 to 240V, 50- or 60-amp dedicated circuit. Normally we install GFCI 10 feet from hot tub and we run the wire safe and not buried under hot tub, we install breaker in panel as well as GFCI.
